Panichishte is located in Rila mountain (Bulgaria), just below The Seven Rila lakes. Many tourists use it as a base camp when visiting the Lakes. It’s a 90-minutes drive from Sofia Airport.

There, in the beautiful 103 View Park Hotel & Spa, Lily and James had their wedding day and my colleagues from Victor Popov Film Company and myself had the pleasure of capturing it.

The schedule was relaxed with lots of time in between. We had bridal party preparations with a dozen girls in one room, groom’s preparation with the two best men, an open air wedding ceremony in front of the hotel and a romantic photo session in the nearby forest.

After that we hit the party under the stars with lots of music and dances from all over the world, including the traditional Bulgarian Horo. The official part of the night ended with cutting the cake and tossing the bouquet. 

As far as I heard from my hotel room while backing up the photos the party continued till the early morning…
